To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the release of Gone with the Wind, Madame Alexander and Turner Classic Movies honor MGM by designing Scarlett O’Hara ™. Gorgeously dressed she looks as though she has stepped down from the silver screen as she and Rhett travel to New Orleans on their honeymoon. This 10” Cissette is a beautiful green eyed lady with brunette hair pulled back to a low bun at the nape of her neck. Her dress is authentically styled of white crepe with a natural waist, pointed collar, white nailhead buttons down the front, and a very full skirt with a train. Her long full black sleeves feature a white foliage chevron pattern ending in solid black at the wrist. A black lace veil worn with a white puff of a hat is held closed in front by red beads. She wears a white cotton lace trimmed petticoat with matching pantaloons and white cotton thigh high stockings beneath her gown. Her signature red “ear bobs”, a white fur muff, and white satin pumps complete Scarlett’s Honeymoon travel dress. Isn’t she lovely? No wonder Rhett loves her so! From Madame Alexander’s Gone With The Wind, Hollywood, Movies, Fashion, Couture, Limited Edition, and 2013 collection. Limited Edition of 300.
